Determination of Particulate Matter using Chromatography

Image

It is estimated that poor air quality contributes to almost 500.000 premature deaths across Europe each year. It is important that we identify the compounds in a Particulate Matter to understand its source and possible hazards associated with it which would allow regulators to target the source of the particles and to know specific hazards associated with the particles. Compounds like PAHs occur at very low levels in PM making their determination difficult. Recent advances in Gas Chromatography – Mass Spectrometry are allowing researchers to develop novel, accurate and precise methods in the determination of such compounds.

The Journal of Chromatography & Separation Techniques aims to disseminate knowledge and promote discussion through the publication of peer-reviewed, high quality research papers on such novel methods. The Journal is a refereed, academic, open-access journal which aims to provide a scholarly platform for critical and informed articles related to separation science.

The Journal is a comprehensive repository of the latest developments in the field of separation science and we seek to receive novel research in the form of Research articles/ Review articles/ Case Reports/ Short Communications/ Conference proceedings/ Rapid Communications. Every effort is made to have a quality, rigorous, critical peer-review and rapid publishing process.

On behalf of the Journal of Chromatography & Separation Techniques, as Editor-In-Chief it is my great pleasure and honor to welcome you to the journal and inform you that, it’s been ten long years since we have started the journal, now we are celebrating the 10th Anniversary and we are privileged to welcome Analytical scientific community from around the globe to our journal.
