Medical imaging establishes a database of normal anatomy and physiology

Medical imaging is the technique and process of creating visual representations of the interior of a body for clinical analysis and medical intervention. Medical imaging seeks to reveal internal structures hidden by the skin and bones, as well as to diagnose and treat disease. X-ray based methods of medical imaging include conventional X-ray, computed tomography (CT) and mammography. To enhance the X-ray image, contrast agents can be used for example for angiography examinations. Molecular imaging is used in nuclear medicine and uses a variety of methods to visualize biological processes taking place in the cells of organisms. Small amounts of radioactive markers, called radiopharmaceuticals, are used for molecular imaging. Other types of medical imaging are magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and ultrasound imaging. Unlike conventional X-ray, CT and Molecular Imaging, MRI and ultrasound operate without ionizing radiation. MRI uses strong magnetic fields, which produce no known irreversible biological effects in humans.

Journal of Oncology Translational Research is an academic journal and aims to publish most complete and reliable source of information on the discoveries and current developments in the mode of original articles, review articles, case reports, short communications, etc. in all areas of the cancer field and making them freely available through online without any restrictions or any other subscriptions to researchers worldwide. The journal selects the articles to be published with a single bind, peer review system, following the practices of good scholarly journals. It supports the open access policy of making scientific research accessible to one and all.

The Journal emphasizes high-level research and education. Great researchers who are extremely qualified in the field are on the Editor Board who are helping the journal to rank as best in the publishing industry. We are very thankful that under their direction and guidance, the journal has attained enormous popularity.  All published articles are permanently archived and available at OMICS International website in HTML and PDF formats and articles will be assigned DOI provided by Cross Ref.

Journal of Translational Oncology Research provides platform for the researchers, scientists, professors, doctor to enhance their research work through online platform. You can submit your manuscript to oncologytransres@medicalresjournals.com
